3-minute practice · Stress and tension
Three-Minute Stress Release
Stress can narrow the mind until every task feels urgent. This practice invites you to notice tension without arguing with it, make a little room around it and choose a helpful next step. It is a pause rather than a promise to remove every problem. Keep breathing comfortably and return to your surroundings whenever you wish.
Sit or stand in a way that supports you. Name the moment gently: I have been carrying a lot.
The timer is silent by default. Spoken guidance uses your device's built-in voice, not a prerecorded MP3. Voice availability, pacing and pronunciation vary.
Guided meditation transcript
Follow the steps at your own pace. Each cue appears at the indicated point in the session; natural pauses between cues allow time for reflection.
- Sit or stand in a way that supports you. Name the moment gently: I have been carrying a lot.
- Unclench the hands. Soften your forehead. Let the jaw release without forcing the body.
- Imagine your attention widening beyond the immediate problem. Notice the room, light and air.
- Let one thought become clear: I can meet this moment without meeting every tomorrow at once.
- Choose one practical next step. It may be water, a pause, a conversation or finishing one task.
