Peaceful Sleep Preparation
The purpose of this night-time practice is to create a gentle transition from doing to resting. It does not guarantee sleep, and it should never become another task to complete perfectly. You can listen quietly, lower the screen brightness or simply read the words slowly. If you become sleepy, let the practice fade into the background.
Settle into a comfortable resting position. Let the day be complete for now.
The timer is silent by default. Spoken guidance uses your device's built-in voice, not a prerecorded MP3. Voice availability, pacing and pronunciation vary.
Guided meditation transcript
Follow the steps at your own pace. Each cue appears at the indicated point in the session; natural pauses between cues allow time for reflection.
- Settle into a comfortable resting position. Let the day be complete for now.
- Soften the muscles around your eyes and temples. Let the shoulders rest heavily.
- Think of the activities you completed today. You can keep the learning and release the unfinished list for tonight.
- Imagine a quiet shoreline after sunset. Gentle waves rise and settle without effort.
- Let each natural exhale remind you that nothing needs to be forced in this moment.
- Allow words to become softer: Rest is allowed. Peace can be simple. There is nothing more to prove tonight.
